Therapy is a space rooted in safety and trust, where you can gently explore your inner world, your experiences, your hopes, and goals without judgement. Sometimes therapy means sitting with hard emotions, learning new tools, or revisiting old stories with fresh perspective. Always, it means you're not alone in the journey toward healing.
The first session will be an initial assessment to discuss some life history and needs for treatment. It's an opportunity for the client and therapist to establish the therapeutic relationship, which is an important aspect to a successful therapy experience. This is also a good time to ask your therapist any questions you may have about the process and discuss any specific interventions you are interested in.
Therapy sessions last between 45-50 minutes for a standard session. Clients will typically have weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly sessions depending on the individual needs and type of interventions being introduced. The duration depends on the client's circumstances and this is something that the client and therapist will determine together.
At Hiraeth Healing we believe in providing a patient centered holistic approach. This means that we get to know our clients and through collaboration decide on the best approach to take for their healing. We help clients with a variety of needs and mental health concerns.
